Review:

After drowning from a car accident on the bridge in Fells Church, Virginia, Elena returns from the dead as a vampire. The idea baffles the grief stricken Stefan because he was sure that he hadn't given her enough blood to change her. But he soon learns the truth as he discovers that Damon has also been exchanging blood with her. And after Elena returns, she's highly irrational and tries to kill Stefan. But luckily Damon stops her...

After drinking blood from Matt and about four days of rest, her memories come back to her and she remembers who Stefan is and her love for him. And although Stefan is glad to have Elena back, he's really upset that she is a vampire. He never wanted this kind of life for her. He is positive that Damon killed her. But Damon insists that he had nothing to do with it. He himself seems to be curious as to what happened to Elena before she died.

But Elena knows it wasn't Damon that killed her. There seems to be this other "Power" stalking her and the town. The Power is stronger than anything they've ever seen and is causing a lot of trouble. Pets seem to be going crazy and attack their owners. While some people are acting strange as if being controlled by an outside source.

The three vampires, along with Elena's friends, start to go through a list of people that could be affiliated or even the cause of this "Power" that only seems to grow in strength. I was surprised the way Damon seemed to join forces with the others and try to chip in. Although is he far from the good guy, Damon is definitely a complex character that I love reading about.

The ending of The Fury was fantastic! You'll be totally surprised when you learn about the other "Power" that's hanging around Fell's Church, and just how familar it truly is. Sacrifices must be made in order to defeat it, you'll definitely have to pick this up to find out (or just stay tuned to my review for the next book, lol)
