Day 261 - Teaser Tuesday [24]

Teaser Tuesdays asks you to:
-Grab your current read.
-Let the book fall open to a random page.
-Share with us two (2) “teaser” sentences from that page, somewhere between lines 7 and 12.
-You also need to share the title of the book that you’re getting your “teaser” from … that way people can have some great book recommendations if they like the teaser you’ve given!
-Please avoid spoilers!

-----------

"Beside me, Thisbe was now screaming, and I wanted to join in, sit back and open my mouth and let the years of frustration and sadness and everything else just spill forth into the world once and for all. But instead, I just sat there, silent, until I suddenly felt someone looking at me." (64)

I'm on the fence about this book. I've read some good reviews (but also some reviews that say that if you've read one Dessen book, you've read them all). I'll look forward to your review--maybe you can tip me over the edge.

Good teaser! I think Thisbe had the right idea, though. A nice scream can be cathartic.

My teasers are here.

How is this one so far? The only Sarah Dessen book I've read is the truth about forever and I loved it. My daughter has read a few others as well, but we haven't picked this one up yet.

@ Literature Crazy & Christine - This is the first book I've read by Sarah so I have nothing really to compare it to, but I am enjoying it =) I can see why people like her writing.

Nice teaser. I so badly want to read a Sarah Dessen book, I know so many people who love her writing. I just have to get through some other committments before I can read just for me lol
